Job Update--JOB FOUND! :-)

I got a job at Arby's! Great restaurant! Their BeefNCheddar sandwich is excellent!

Manager is a straight shooter. I perceive being able to do exactly what I need to do, please the uppers, and be able to advance steadily.

I am keeping this job, as a goal, for one year, evaluate my progress along the way, and at the end of the first year, see what might be available for advancement.

I am so friggin' happy! :-) I've been out of work for over three months, and now I have a job!

One Goal Accomplished!

I Am Stephen Brown, I Am Firefishe!

I have started this blog to chronicle my journey of my current status of 'unemployed' to the time when I become 'employed.'

My goals are many, but may be broken down into the following:

  1. To give an honest accounting of my job searches. Weekly, at the very least, but bi-daily as a general rule. (I only have semi-regular access to the Internet, so I have to work around this limitation.)
  2. To keep tabs on my relationships with various government agencies, especially with Missouri Vocational Rehabilitation here in Jefferson City.
  3. To keep track of any and all personal counseling sessions, be they career oriented, psychologically oriented, or of the more private variety.
  4. To give myself a written record, stored online, that will allow me to present evidence to any persons, official, professional or laypersons, whose services may be necessary to help me attain my goal of employment.
  5. Financial Management -- To provide me a place for keeping track every one of my expenses incurred during the employment seeking process.
  6. A place in which to share my personal views and philosophies on the world of employment, how that world is affecting me, and what I am doing to make it better.
I am in need of more gainful and long-lasting employment now in my life than I have ever experienced. I have various 'barriers' that are keeping me from this goal, and this blog is intended, by me, to relieve this state-of-being from my existence, forever!
